Mangalore: Top Ministers, Bureaucrats Attend High-Profile Wedding of Oscar's Son

Mangalore, Jan 17: The who's who of the world of politics and beaureaucracy descended on the city on Wednesday January 16 to attend the high-profile wedding of Oshan, the son of former union minister and Rajya Sabha MP Oscar Fernandes.
The wedding, held at Milagres Church, was followed by a grand and glittering reception at Ladies Club at Light House Hill.
Among the guests were governor H R Bhardwaj, union ministers Rehman Khan, Mallikarjuna Kharge, Dr M Veerappa Moily, K H Muniyappa, Satyanarayan, Maharashtra chief minister Prithviraj Chauhan, Arunachal CM Nabam Tuki, KPCC president Dr Parameshwar, leader of state opposition Siddaramaiah, B K Harisprasad, Maharashtra minister Suresh Shetty, Maharashtra Pradesh Congress president Kripasingh Thakur, Kerala Congress president Ramesh Chennittala, Sudhakar Reddy, former chief minister Dharam Singh, Guruprasad Kamath, Shyamnoor Shivashankarappa, former union minister Jagadish Tytler.
Archbishop of Bangalore Dr Bernard Moras and Bishop of Mangalore Dr Aloysius Paul D'Souza also blessed the newly-married couple.
Oshan Fernandes, a marketing executive in Delhi, tied the knot with Frazil, a chartered accountant student hailing from Udyavar, Udupi.
Several other political leaders including Ramanath Rai, Janardhan Poojary, J P Hegde and others also attended the wedding and conveyed their best wishes to the couple.
