Milan, Jan 13 (IANS): Inter Milan head coach Andrea Stramaccioni said his side was rediscovering their balance following their 2-0 victory over Pescara in the Italian Serie A football league.
The Italian football giants had lost two of their past three league games, drawing the other one. But goals from Rodrigo Palacio and Fredy Guarin helped the Nerazzurri pick up all three points, reports Xinhua.
"It went well, because the most important thing we take from this game is that we are rediscovering our balance. That is what allowed us to string together a series of positive results earlier this season," Stramaccioni said.
"Pescara played a careful game, while we have improved in terms of performance compared to recent outings."
Striker Antonio Cassano stormed out angrily after he was substituted, perhaps because he wasted opportunities to score his first goal since October.
"It is only normal that he was disappointed, as he did have chances. You can see from that reaction how much he cares about the Inter shirt, but I preferred to give Tommaso Rocchi his home debut. We also have to prepare for Tuesday's Coppa Italia tie," said the Inter coach.
"There is nothing to clarify with Cassano. He simply wanted to stay on the field for longer," he said.
