Milan, Jan 7 (IANS): AC Milan football club vice president Adriano Galliani has confirmed that Robinho turned down offers from Brazil and would stay with the Rossoneri.
"Robinho did not want to leave Milan, he just wanted to go home," Galliani was quoted as saying by Xinhua Sunday.
"We failed to agree a deal with Santos and his agent couldn't agree personal terms either."
"Other Brazilian clubs were ready to fulfil all the requirements, but Robinho wanted to stay with Milan. I heard from Gremio yesterday and they wanted him at all costs," Galliani said.
"With Pato there were six strikers, while now we have five and they are enough. If nobody else leaves, then nobody will come in during the January window," Galliani added.
