Mangalore: KCCS Stuthi Sanje - An Evening of Soothing Gospel Music

Mangalore, Jan 7: Soothing music reverberated at Bishop Jatanna hall here on Sunday January 6, with Bangalore-based Stuthi Kannada music group presenting Gospel songs during 'Stuthi Sanje'.
The programme was organized by the Karnataka Christian Communication Service (KCCS).
'Stuthi' is an amateur Kannada music group belonging to St Andrew's Chuch, Bangalore led by pastor Rev Prem Mitra. The group aims to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ though songs.
During the musical evening, as many as 40 artistes of the group rendered Gospel songs. The evening started with hymns.
Pastor Rev Prem Mitra in his message said that music is a gift to mankind, through which people can reach out to god. "Music gives happiness," he added.
On the occsion, KACES secretary Dr Hannibal Cabral inaugurated an LCD projector donated by Dr Ratish Johnson.
Sandeep Theophil, Winifred Ammanna, Anil Cabral and others were present.
The group had performed in Udupi on Saturday January 5.
