London, Dec 12 (IANS): Actress Helena Bonham Carter will be honoured by the Critics Circle Film Awards for her outstanding contribution to film.
The 46-year-old will be presented with the Dilys Powell Award for Excellence in Film at a star-studded ceremony in January next year at London's May Fair Hotel.
Bonham Carter will follow in the footsteps of Dame Judi Dench, Quentin Tarantino and Kristin Scott Thomas, who have all been honoured with the award, reports contactmusic.com.
"To be chosen for this award is a surprise and an honour. I am delighted. It's always nice when critics say something nice about you for a change, and especially the critics in your hometown," she said.
