Rome, Dec 9 (IANS): Francesco Totti scored twice and set up one to inspire Italian football club Roma to beat Fiorentina 4-2 at home.
Roma went ahead in the seventh minute through Leandro Castan but Facundo Roncaglia levelled seven minutes later, reports Xinhua.
Totti put Roma ahead again before extending their lead prior to half-time and setting up a fourth for Pablo Osvaldo in the 89th minute.
In between, Mounir El Hamdaoui gave Fiorentina hope in a game full of chances at both ends.
Roma head coach Zdenek Zeman praised Fiorentina as the ideal opponents after Roma's victory.
"It was a good performance against a good Fiorentina side as they play and allow their opponents to play. If teams let us play, then we take advantage," he said.
