Los Angeles, Dec 6 (IANS): Footballer David Beckham will try his hand in the kitchen in a bid to impress friend Gordon Ramsay by cooking Christmas dinner for the TV chef.
The 37-year-old is prepared to make a three-course festive feast including a turkey with all the trimmings, a starter and traditional Christmas pudding, reports contactmusic.com.
"Most people would run a mile rather than have Gordon at their table but David is determined to give it his best shot. He's been taking cookery lessons and finally feels ready to whip up a lavish spread," said a source.
Ramsay, his wife Tana, 37, and their four children - Megan, 13, twins Jack and Holly, 11, and Matilda, nine - will join Beckham, his wife singer Victoria, 38, and their brood, Brooklyn, 13, Romeo, 10, Cruz, seven, and 16-month-old Harper.
"He knows Christmas Day is a big deal, so is naturally a bit anxious. But he's raring to go.
"Gordon's told him organisation and preparation are the keys to success. Victoria has even agreed to lend a hand," said the source.
