BSP Stalls Rajya Sabha over Ambedkar Memorial

New Delhi, Dec 5 (IANS): The Rajya Sabha was adjourned till noon Wednesday after Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) members noisily demanded a memorial for Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar in Mumbai.

As soon as the house met at 11 a.m., members of the BSP started raising slogans demanding a memorial for Ambedkar in Mumbai. Amid the din, Chairman Hamid Ansari adjourned the house till noon.
