Zardari Ratifies Pakistan-India Visa Agreement


Islamabad, Nov 21 (IANS): Pakistani President Asif Ali Zardari has endorsed the liberalised visa agreement between Pakistan and India, a media report said.

Both sides had signed the agreement Sep 8. It will pave way for greater people-to-people contact and boost trade.

As per the agreement, visas will be issued for a period of up to six months and will allow a trip to not more than five places.

It will also allow a visitor to remain in that country for no more than three months at a stretch.
