Mangalore: Samarth Shenoy's 'Jadoo' Evening Enchants City

Mangalore, Nov 18: It was truly a magical evening as stunt performer Samarth Shenoy rendered a spell-binding performance along with other artistes and magicians at 'Jadoo Sanje' held at C V Nayak Hall, near Bunts Hostel on Sunday, November 18 at 6 pm.
The programme was organized by Samarth in rememberance of his mother the late Veenadhari, a social activist and Kannada Rajyotsava Awardee.
The evening was filled with a plethora of entertaining performances like songs by Vishwanath Bhat, Car Street, mimicry by Tasleema and magic shows by Rajesh Mali and his daughters, Apoorva Mali and Anjana Mali, both of them students of Samarth.
A book written by Samarth on basic and simple magic tricks was also released on the occasion. Srikhar Prabhu, Prabhakar Kamath, Shiva Prakash, Sabitha Kamath, Rajendra kumar, Reshma Ullal and others were present as guests.
Three prominent personalities were felicitated on the occasion, namely, Sanjeeva Poojary Kundapura, a social activist fighting for the rights of HIV-positive patients, himself being one. Rajesh Mali, a magician and Vilas Nayak, MD, Spandana HD TV Channel.
The programme was comperd by VJ Avinash who kept the atmosphere charged with his witty interactions. The proceeds of the the charity show was handed over to Sanjeeva Poojary, for to fulfil the basic needs of HIV effected children who were with him.
Large number of wellwishers, friends, relatives and magic lovers were present on the occasion to support this noble cause of a prominent yet quiet magician, Samarth Shenoy.
