Mangalore: Devadas Kapikad Releases 'Ksheeranjali' Infotainer

Mangalore, Nov 16: 'Ksheeranjali' an infotainer conceived and directed by Sithesh C Govind was released by Devadas Kapikad, renowned theatre artist at KMF, Kulshekar here on Friday November 16.
'Ksheeranjali' which narrates the success story of milk is a unique infotainer film made under the banner of Karnataka Milk Federation in the children's film category.

Karnataka Milk Federation (KMF) has taken the unique initiative wherein it aims at inspiring and educating new generation especially school children.
'Ksheeranjali' aims at awakening thee new generation to get into dairy farming in their own homeland, as today youngsters are more focused on white color profession like engineering, medical etc which will earn only monetary benefits.
'Ksheeranjali' is a humble effort put up in a cinematic way which is purely to show the differences in opinion between two generations, blending values, bonding and humanity.
Speaking to Daijiworld, director Sithesh Govind said that 'Ksheeranjali' was not a commercial film but aimed at educating school children. "The film has already reached 39 schools in the district, and the target is to reach 20,000 children," he said.
The film's duration is 90 minutes and has Naveen, Grishma, Gopinath Bhat and RJ Vishwas playing the central roles, he said.
Synopsis
The story revolves around a tiny village habituated by real characters, who deal with their lives in dairy farming. A boy (Manish as Arun), nephew of the two main characters Ramesh (Gopinath Bhat) and Suresh (Vishwas Kamath) discovers village life and cultural values in a new way, highly influenced by his uncle Suresh who was a software engineer once upon a time and is now a very successful in dairy farming.
Arun realizes there is much more to life than just money. Meanwhile he gets back a lost cow, Kaveri, which was the lifeline of his grandfather's (Bhasker Nellitheertha) family. Arun finds the cow, which reflects prosperity of the family, with the help of a comic character CID Sheena (Sathish Bondale).
