Washington, Nov 16 (IANS): Former French national team skipper Thierry Henry who is playing for Major League Soccer (MLS) side New York Red Bulls has been included in the last-three list for the Most Valuable Player award for 2012.
Herry joined Red Bulls in 2010 after successful spells in European giants including Monaco, Juventus, Arsenal and Barcelona. The 35-year-old Henry scored his first hat-trick in a 5-2 Red Bulls win over Montreal Impact and was named MLS Player of the Month that same month, reports Xinhua.
The 1998 World Cup winner is joined by the other two finalists - San Jose forward Chris Wondolowski and Kansas City' midfielder Graham Zusi.
The winner of the MVP award will be announced Nov 29.
