Mangalore: Gurukiran Launches Audio CD of Tulu Movie 'Telikeda Bolli'

Mangalore, Nov 8: The audio CD of the upcoming Tulu movie 'Telikeda Bolli' was released at Hotel Ocean Pearl here on Thursday November 8.
The audio CD was released by the music director of the movie, the popular Sandalwood music director Gurukiran.
Addressing the gathering after the release, Gurukiran said that it was not so easy to make a Tulu movie. "It is a very good development in the Tulu movie industry as many Tulu movies are getting released of late. Tulu movie industry being a small part of the entire movie industry is going through a good phase," he said.
"Such developments not only increase interest among viewers, but also create a lot of space and opportunities for new as well as existing artistes. This is a family movie and I am previleged to work with it. This is going to be a big and memorable movie in the Tulu movie industry."
Devadas Kapikad, who has acted in the movie said that the movie has been shot very nicely without compromising on anything. "This is going to be the best movie in the history of Tulu movie industry. The audio CD has 4 songs and a few dialogues of the movie as well," he said.
"The crew and the technicians have worked hard like one family to bring this movie to the level of high-level cinema. We have got immense support from the public and the media, right from the first day of shooting," he said.
Sudhir Kamath, the producer of the movie along with Sharmila D Kapikad, promised to release the movie most probably at the end of this month. "Last February, the shooting began and the movie was supposed to be released by now, but due to some technical reasons, the release was postponed for this month-end.
The movie has been directed by T H Vishwanath and script and dialogues are by Devadas Kapikad.
This is the first Tulu movie for which Gurukiran is directing the music. The lyrics are by V Manohar, except one by R K Ullal. "All the songs as well as the movie as a whole have come out very well," he added.
Kishore, proprietor of Music World was also present on the occasion.
