Dubai, Nov 7: Billawas Dubai & Northern Emirates (BDNE) one of the premier associations for Billawas in UAE is all geared up to celebrate its 15th anniversary on Friday November 16 at Crowne Plaza Hotel, Sheikh Zayed Road, Dubai. It will be a day-long fun filled event starting from 9.30 am going on until late evening.
BDNE, a household name in the Billawa Community, well-known for the charity distribution of scholarships to the poorest of the poor community students back home have been doing a tremendous job. For many year the deserving students have availed the opportunity to study in the chosen fields. Increasing number of students are being blessed with the support given by BDNE all these years and are more than happy to continue their education with this unique programme. BDNE recently has registered a Trust in the same name which will keep up the continuity of their existing programme in the future too.
Well-known dignitaries including National Award winner, writer, film producer and actor Sadanand Suvarna, managing director of GB Builders, Ganesh Bangera, vice-president of Guru Charitable Trust, Chandrashekar Sanil, renowned artiste, Vidwan Suresh Attavar and many more have agreed to attend the 15th anniversary celebration.
Vidwan Suresh Attavar to Present 'Koti Chennaya' Dance Drama
Vidwan Suresh Attavar along with his artiste family has already arrived in Dubai to be part of the BDNE's 15th annual celebration and present 'Koti Chennaya' dance drama by preparing the local Billawa talents for this presentation.
Billawas who are well-known for presenting various maiden adventurous dance performances in the past in the UAE are enthusiastically waiting for the current well-prepared presentation of a combination of classical and folk dance drama, which promises to be unique and entertaining.
Suresh Attavar, a Billawa himself, who currently is the dance director at Chakrapani Nritya Kala Kendra was pleasantly surprised with the invitation he received at his home by BDNE member Shodhan Prasad during his recent visit and agreed to be part of the celebration, citing his completion of 25 years of dancing experience back in home town. BDNE president Jeetendra Suvarna along with his committee members was equally impressed with the awards and accolades of Suresh Attavar, and invited him to Dubai. BDNE has always supported their skilled and active community members to be part of their anniversary celebration throughout these years.
This is his maiden visit to Dubai and Suresh expressed his immense happiness on being part of his own community programme in Dubai. He is all prepared to train and prepare his Billawa associates in presenting this unique programme.
Other than 'Nrithya Roopaka' there will be various different dances, skits, music, singing and joyful events the entire day, all planned, prepared and ready to be executed.
A sumptuous buffet lunch, raffle draw and felicitations will also be part of the programme.
