Singapore Airlines to Buy 25 Aircraft


Paris, Oct 25 (IANS): Singapore Airlines has placed a $7.5-billion order for 25 Airbus aircraft, the Paris-based manufacturer announced Wednesday.

The order comprises five double-deck A380s and 20 A350s, Xinhua reported.

"The aircraft will enable us to further enhance our network, providing more travel options to our customers," Singapore Airlines CEO Goh Choon Phong said.

"They will also feature the next generation of in-flight cabin products to keep us at the forefront of airline product innovation," Phong said.
