ASEAN-India Car Rally to Kick-off Nov 25

Yangon, Oct 23 (IANS): A car rally from Indonesia to India covering nine countries will start Nov 25 to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the ASEAN-India friendship.

Two teams from nine ASEAN countries and India will participate. The rally, organised for a second time, will begin at Jogjakarta, Indonesia, and end in New Delhi Dec 20.

The rally will pass through Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, Laos and Myanmar, Xinhua reported saturday.

The first ASEAN-India car rally in 2004 attracted 240 participants and 60 vehicles.
