Rio de Janeiro, Oct 16 (IANS): Former Formula 1 driver Rubens Barrichello will make his debut in Brazil's stock car series Sunday.
The 40-year-old said he was ready to compete in the southern city of Curitiba despite testing with his team for the first time Monday, reports Xinhua.
"I'm really enjoying this experience. It's very different. There's almost zero visibility in a stock car, you can't even see the wheels. But I'm getting used to it," Barrichello said.
The Brazilian is also expected to feature in the season's final two races in Brasilia Nov 11 and at the Interlagos circuit in Sao Paulo Dec 9.
Barrichello has a record 322 Grands Prix starts during his 19-year Formula 1 career. He finished runner-up in the drivers' championship with Ferrari in 2002 and 2004.
