Beltangady: Four Diploma Students Go Missing

Beltangady, Oct 14: Four diploma students from SDM College, Ujire have been reported missing since Friday October 12 night.
The students have been identified as Udaya B C (17), Boppanna (17), Nuthan H C (17) and H C Nitheshraj (17).
It is learnt that all four were pursuing their first year mechanical diploma in SDM College.
Udaya B C is 5.7 ft in height, lean, with wheatish complexion and knows Kannada, English, Hindi and Tulu languages.
Boppanna is 5.2 ft in height, lean, with wheatish complexion and knows Kannada, English, Hindi and Tulu languages.
Nuthan and Nithinraj too are 5.2 ft tall, with wheatish complexion and know Kannada, English, Hindi,Tulu languages.
A parent-teachers' meeting was held in the College on Saturday October 13, but the four disappeared the previous night.
On Friday, a similar incident was reported in Mangalore, where four school girls went missing after school hours. After an intense search, they were found the next morning at Shivbagh. The four of them reportedly ran away for fear of being reprimanded for getting low marks in exams.
