New Delhi, Oct 14 (IANS): Nearly 150 protestors gathered outside Indira Gandhi International (IGI) Airport here Sunday morning, shouting slogans against union Law Minister Salman Khurshid as he landed here after a visit to London.
Khurshid, who was in London to receive an honour at Oxford University, arrived here early Sunday. As he landed, supporters of India Against Corruption (IAC) activist Arvind Kejriwal gathered near the VVIP gate of the IGI airport, shouting slogans and holding placards demanding his ouster.
The minister was whisked away by securitymen out of the airport and the crowd was dispersed by Delhi Police and airport security, an official from the IGI airport said.
Kejriwal and his team of India Against Corruption (IAC) has alleged financial irregularities in an NGO run by Khurshid's wife Louise.
IAC member Aswathi Muralidharan, however, told IANS that the group did not organise the protest.
"They were supporting Kejriwal-ji, but IAC did not organise the protest," she told IANS.
Khurshid is to address a press conference Sunday evening in response to the charges.
