M'lore: Ganeshotsava Committee President Murder Case - Three Arrested

Mangalore, Oct 10: Police arrested three persons in connection with the murder of president of Pumpwell Ganeshotsava Samithi, Ganesh Ram Suvarna.

The arrested have been identified as Mohith Kumar (20) of Merlapadau, Jithin Bhandary (20) of Kakkebettu in Kulshekar and Pavan Kumar (17) of Udaynagar near KPT.

The police sources said that he was killed with an intention to loot cash and gold.

As per the information received, the accused murdered Ganesh Suvarna, looted gold, mobile and fled from the spot on motorbike. The accused later abandoned the bike near Kadri.

Police recovered gold chain, pendent, ring, mobile phone and motor bike from the accused. The total value of the above valuables is estimated to be around Rs 1.3 lac.

The police team headed by ACP TR Jagannath of South sub-station were part of the investigation.

    Moral education is also must for everybody from Child hood along with academic education/literacy mission.
    Nowadays we find smart, intelligent, rich etc. but importance to character is not given !
    Old age saying is true, what we feed will grow, what we starve will die. Therefore good character is diminishing !
    Our society has to lay more importance and should impart moral education to our people.

    Some one in this portal accused particular community about the murder of the said person!Let him eat his words.In fact Ganesh Ram Suvarna,the deceased, accused to be in illicit friendship with murders as local media report says!!!For their(murderers)bad luck, visited temple's toilet in which CCTV caught image which is instrumental in nabbing criminals! Police done good job and criminals deserves harsh punishment.
