Sullia: Newly-wed Woman Ends Life, Seven Including Husband Booked

Sullia, Oct 3: A newly-married woman allegedly commited suicide recently for reportedly being decieved into marriage with a mentally ill man. Seven persons including her husband have been booked in the case.
The deceased has been identified as Pramoda (23), daughter of Yermetti Balakrishna Nayak and Bharathi. She commited suicide by hanging herself in her parental house.
She mentioned in her death note that she took the extreme step as she had been cheated into marriage with a mentally ill person and that she had been harrassed by her husband.
The case has been filed in the police station by Pramoda's uncle Ramesh Prabhu.
Pramoda's husband Rajesh (30), a resident of Virajpete Balugodu, his father Sri Ram (58), mother Janaki (58), brother Dinesh (28), relative Umesh (36), resident of Nellur Kemraje, Umesh's wife Usha (32) and brother Chandrashekar (45) have been booked as per law.
Pramoda was married to Rajesh on May 31 this year. When she came to know that her husband was mentally ill, she returned to her parental house and filed a case in the Sullia court against the above mentioned persons.
The accused were realesed on condition bail. On learning that they had been released and that she was not given justice, Pramoda allegedly committed suicide.
