New Delhi/Mumbai, Oct 2: It was a time of great honour for Madam Grace Pinto, managing director, Ryan International Group of Institutions to receive ‘Excellence Award’ by Honourable President of India, Shree Pranab Mukherjee, at Vigyan Bhawan on the occasion of World Elder’s Day hosted by Helpage India.
The award was conferred upon Madam for her commendable contribution towards the cause and care of the underprivileged elderly. As a true philanthropist she has rendered tremendous aid to the victims of cyclone affected people in Orissa and Tsunami affected fishermen of Tamil Nadu giving them a new hope of life. Also working assiduously, to create health awareness among the under-served, wherein medical camps are regularly conducted in different parts of the country. She also ardently supports the upbringing of young children from more than 100 orphanages and blind homes in different parts of the country.
She leads the effort at Ryan Foundation, which works for leprosy, blind, HIV and cancer patients in supporting their treatment and conditioning their mind with the help of her esteemed institution which reverberates love, care for children and support by providing relief materials on a regular basis. Truly a role model whose life demonstrates an oasis of compassion, commitment, charity and service to undertake several remarkable initiatives in support of society which have been globally recognized on numerous occasions with over 70 prestigious national and international awards.
