Seven Killed in Bengal Bus Accident

Kolkata, Sep 30 (IANS): Seven people were killed and many others were injured when a bus carrying around 30 pilgrims overturned in West Bengal's Hooghly district Sunday, police said.

The accident occurred when the speeding bus lost control and overturned, said a police officer.

The injured passengers have been admitted to the Burdwan Medical College and Hospital. The condition of some is critical, the officer said.
