Tehran, Sep 30 (IANS): Iran has unveiled an indigenously built sniper rifle with a range of three kilometres, Xinhua reported.
The Shaaher 14.5-mm-caliber rifle is 185 cm long and weighs 22 kg.
A tactical vehicle called Neinava was also unveiled during a ceremony in Tehran Saturday. Iran Army'S Brigadier General Ahmad-Reza Pourdastan attended the event.
The 2.5-tonne vehicle, which boasts a 240-horsepower engine, is designed to transport troops and equipment.
