Mumbai, Sep 17: The first ever Anubhaava Sahithya Sammelan -2012 (Mystic literature convention) organized by Kannada Sahithya Parishad Maharastra unit was inaugurated by entrepreneur cum litterateur Suresh Shetty Bellary. Senior litterateur Goru Channabasappa presided on the ocassion.
The two day convention organized under the joint aegis of Akhila Bharatha Sharana Sahithya Parishath Bangalore, Billavara Association Mumbai, Karnataka Sangha Mumbai, Kannada department of Mumbai University and Department of Kannada and culture, Bangalore took place on the Late Dr V S Acharya stage at Late Santhosh Kumar Gulwadi in Narayana Guru Marg in Santa Cruz east on Saturday.
Bellary in his address said that the sammelan aims at realizing the perpetual sense of the soul thereby wiping out caste system which needs to be replaced with a humanitarian approach. He added that this sammelan gives a platform for the people of all classes in the society to reach out the stage of perfection in life.
Goru Channabasappa delivering his presidential address said that the convention on mystic literature awakens the common people and works as a bridge between soul and god.
Kannada Sahithya Parishad Maharastra unit president H B L Rao delivering the keynote address. On the occasion DK district Kannada Sahithya Parishad president Pradeep Kumar Kalkura released a book ‘Mumbai Darpana’.
Later in the programme literature sessions were held. Karnataka Sangha Mumbai president Dr G D Joshi welcomed the gathering . Om Das Kannangar delivered the vote of thanks. Nithyananda D Kotian and Shashikala Hegde compeered the programme.
