The Hague, Sep 17 (IANS): PSV Eindhoven suffered a shock 0-1 loss at FC Utrecht, while leaders FC Twente maintained their perfect record in the Dutch football's Eredivisie.
Despite the fact that FC Utrecht finished the match with nine men after red cards for Anouar Kali (69th minute) and Alexander Gerndt (80'), PSV was unable to defeat Utrecht. Dave Bulthuis headed in the winning goal in the 72nd minute, reports Xinhua.
PSV coach Dick Advocaat was furious. "There are no excuses," he said. "Utrecht deserved the win. They were better in all aspects."
Twente had no problems at Willem II, beating the Tilburg side 6-2. Robbert Schilder scored two goals for the visitors.
