Muscat, Sep 17: The Mangalorean Catholic Center of the Parish, ( MCCP, Sts. Peter & Paul Church – Ruwi) will be organizing the Semi-final rounds of the “Gulf Voice of Mangalore 2012 ” competition, a mega talent - hunt show for the Konkani speaking community that is spread all over the Middle East, on Friday, 21st September 2012 at the main parish hall of Sts. Peter and Paul Church, Ruwi. The competition, as officially announced by MCCP officials, will begin at 7.00 pm and has separate categories for male and female participants.
Renowned Konkani musicians and singers based in the United Arab Emirates are expected to adjudicate the contest.
Gulf Voice of Mangalore competition is open to all Konkani Speaking singers of Mangalore origin, not limited to MCCP Members, holders of the residence visa of the Sultanate of Oman; born on or before 15th October 1994.
