Holy Family Church Chakala Celebrates Nativity Feast

Mumbai, Sep 18:The liturgy group of Holy Family Church in Chakala celebrated the nativity feast along with the parishioners here on Sunday September 16.

Prior to the celebration held at Holy Family Jesuit School hall, Fr Thomas SVD celebrated the festal mass.

Fr Donald SVD conducted prayers and blessed the new grain.

Children along with other devotees sand hymns and offered flowers to the idol of Marry.

The Konkani speaking children of the church performed various entertainment programmes.

Antony Sequeira, editor of Divo and Suzan Coelho wished everyone present and lauded the association.

All the members present joined together to have lunch prepared by Almeida caterers.

Valerian Lobo, president welcomed the gathering, Joel Almeida, Delphino Cardoza compered and Laveena Serrao delivered vote of thanks.

Louiza Lobo, vice president, Philomena D’Souza, joint secretary, Dyna D’souza, Raymond Pinto, John D’Souza among others were present.
