New York, Sep 10 (IANS): The US Open men's singles final between Novak Djokovic of Serbia and Andy Murray of Britain's makes for an exciting clash at the Flushing Meadows here Monday.

Head-to-head Djokovic, seeded second, leads 8-6 but third seed Murray, an Olympic gold medallist, has the ability to pull off his maiden Grand Slam title and end Britain's 76-year-old wait for a major title. Fred Perry was the last Englishman to win a Grand Slam at the 1936 US Open.
