Delhi Trader Looted in Agra


Agra, Sep 8 (IANS): A Delhi trader, dealing in shoe material, was looted at gunpoint here late Friday, police said.

Pradeep Jindal was returning from a shoe market after collecting cash for supplies, when three men on a motorcycle stopped him near Dhakran crossing in the Nai ki Mandi area. One of them pulled out a pistol, while the other snatched the bag.

Assistant Superintendent of Police, Dinesh Kumar, told IANS Saturday: "No arrests have been made so far. According to the trader, Rs.30 lakh was looted."
