Goa Police Rescues Sex Racket Victims

Panaji, Sep 4 (IBNS): Goa police on Tuesday busted yet another sex racket running under the guise of a massage parlour in the state’s northern coastal belt at Calangute.

Four girls from Mizoram, Mumbai and Kolkata were rescued and sent to remand home at Merces, 6 kms from Panaji.

The owner, whose name has been kept under wraps for now, had reportedly brought the girls for the illegal trade. Over five customers were also arrested.

“The girls were employed for massage services but they were also provided for prostitution. Special code was used to customers seeking sexual pleasure. Different rates were quoted for different types of sexual acts,” a police officer said.

The raid was a part of the ongoing drive against prostitution in the state. The Panaji police last weekend rescued 10 Thai girls from three different massage parlours.
