Goa Church Wing’s Website Hacked

Panaji, Aug 31 (IBNS) The Goa Church’s social wing – Council for Social Justice and Peace’s (CSJP) website was hacked last evening with hackers posting on the site patriotic words like Jai Hind and Happy Independence Day.

Self-proclaimed ethical hackers group ‘Indian Hackers’ have accessed the system third time since over a fortnight.

The hackers have posted pro-India slogans and a caricature showing a girl marching with the Indian tri colour. The data of the website www.cspgoa.org has however not been tampered as assured on the hacked page.

“So you know your SECURITY is sTiLL LACKING and there are holes in your system…Don’T WORRY Your Database is SAFE…” the hackers have posted.

The Church body’s executive secretary FR Savio Fernandes said cyber experts will verify the matter before filing a police complaint. “The website was hacked thrice earlier but it was restored,” he said.

CSJP has been voicing concern on various issues for the Goans.
