Mangalore: Oscar Fernandes Felicitates Three Builders During ‘Statecon-2012’

Mangalore, Aug 25: Oscar Fernandes, senior congress leader, conferred awards to three eminent builders for their distinct achievement in the field of real estate, at the valedictory session of ‘Statecon-2012’, the second Karnataka State CREDAI Convention, held here, at TMA Pai International Convention Centre, on Saturday, August 25.
Rohan Monteiro, managing director of Property Infratech Pvt Ltd, Siraj Ahmed, managing director of Inland builders and Sanath Kumar Shetty of SKS Builders were conferred awards for their innovation and achievement as builders.
Rohan Monteiro was honored for introducing rooftop (hanging type) swimming pool with ozone implementation, introducing for the first time in Mangalore the FRP water tank (fiber reinforced plastic) with fully food grade compliance and for coming up with the 8 projects in just 2 years. He was also recognized as the youngest builder in Mangalore.
Siraj Ahmed, managing director of Inland builders was recognized for receiving the National Safety and Health Award given by the central government for implementing safety and precautionary measures. CREDAI recognized him for his work 'Inland Windsor's builder project', located near the Airport Road.
Sanath Shetty of SKS Builders was honored at the occasion for constructing ‘Planet SKS’, the tallest building in Mangalore. It consists of G+35 storey of 169 three and four bedroom units with 394 covered car parks for the residents and 30 for visitors. Anand Shekar received the honor on behalf of him.
Lalit Kumar Jain, CREDAI National president, Sushil Mantri, CREDAI State president, P M A Razak, CREDAI Mangalore president, Pushparaj Jain, secretary, KC Naik, past president of CREDAI and the chairman of Statecon-2012, builders of Karnataka and neighboring states were the others present at the occasion.
