According to the communication received from the National Safety Council the award will be handed over to the company by the Union Minister for Labour and Employment Mallikarjun Kharge tentatively in October/November 2012 at a public function. The communication reads, “We strongly believe that in the construction sector the owners/clients also have a crucial role to play in setting requirement in the contract documents and monitoring the implementation of effective safety systems and procedures in the projects awarded to them. Therefore, the In-Land Infrastructure Developers Pvt Ltd., would be conferred with the Suraksha Puraskar (safety award) in construction sector as a client organization”.
Siraj Ahmed, Chairman and Managing Director of In-Land Infrastructure Developers Pvt Ltd., is quite ecstatic on winning the prestigious national level award and says, “The award reinforce our stand that we have taken utmost care and precautions to provide foolproof safety and security measures to ensure the wellbeing of our clients at In-Land Windsors. Ingenuity, technology, distinctiveness, aesthetics and safety are the important pillars on which our company has been able to make a mark and win and retain the confidence of our clients”.
Siraj says that the award has come as a surprise for the simple reason that his company has not applied for it. “We had no knowledge that we have won this prestigious award. We don’t even know that any such survey was conducted. It was a surprise when we received the letter informing us about winning the award. May be their team might have done their own survey. These safety awards are usually bagged by North Indian companies and our winning the award this year is a matter of great pride and joy for us. We at In-land believe in team effort and this award is a reward for the unstinting and untiring efforts of the entire In-Land team”.
Milepost Project
In-Land Windsors located on Airport Road in Mary Hill, Mangalore, is a 24-storey luxury residential and prestigious project of In-Land Group. Renowned architect from Mumbai Sagar Mistry is the architect of this landmark project and In-land staff Vinyas Shetty is the project head. In-Land has created a name for itself as a promoter and developer for its distinctive architectural and aesthetically renowned projects and most of these projects have become the mileposts of Mangalore. In-Land Windsors, the ongoing project which is all set for inauguration within the next six months has already been identified as a one-of-its kind of project to dot the skylines of Mangalore.
Located on a hill top in an elevated position, the project which has 226 luxury apartments with 3 modern style row houses is designed to resemble like the sea-waves, keeping in tune with the coastal identity of Mangalore. Located in a vast expanse of land the vicinage of In-Land Windsor has attracted the attention of all those who have an eye for aesthetic faculties and natural panoramic view. Due to its natural elevation it still retains its status as the tallest building in Mangalore and glistens like a priced jewel in the real estate crown of Mangalore.
In-Land Windsors also known for providing some of the ultra-modern amenities to its clients that include an exclusive club house, high rise speed stretcher lift, helipad, garbage chute, 2 level car parking, swimming pool, high standards of safety and security and all other amenities that assure opulent living with a dash of style. The club house of In-land Windsors with an avalanche of facilities like squash and basketball courts with viewer’s balcony, gymnasium, steam room, jogging track etc., has come in for high appreciation from clients.
Siraj Ahmed says that the In-Land Windsor is designed to satisfy the needs of all the members of the house from children to the old-aged, to give them a sense of belongingness and utmost happiness. “Earlier people used to have lot of land and there was a great demand for bungalows. Buying an apartment was just another need to satisfy the need of an additional house. Now the trends have changed and apartments enjoy the status of a permanent house and that is why there is an increasing tendency to opt for the best of facilities in apartments”, he says.
Another interesting aspect of In-land Windsors is that it has acquired the status of a ‘global apartment’ as Mangaloreans settled in different corners of the globe have acquired apartments here. It is believed that nearly half of the apartments in In-Land Windsors have been bought by Mangaloreans who are settled in gulf, American and European countries but want to either come back permanently or during holidays or want to buy an apartment for their kith and kin back home, thus giving it the aura of a global apartment.
There have been accolades and awards for the company in recognition of its consummate achievements. In April this year Siraj Ahmed was conferred with Aryabhata Award for the year 2012 in the category of social service and industry for his profundity and accomplishments.
The National Safety Award is a crowning glory in the long but eventful journey of the company in the real estate sector.
