Kundapur, Aug 20: Mumbai based Bharath Co-operative branch, a multi state scheduled bank opened its 49th branch at Veenu complex here on Thursday August 16.
Jaya C Suvarna, president of Billawa association, former chairman and director of Bharath Bank inaugurated the new branch.
Suresh S Poojary, president of Billawa Jagrathi Balaga launched the services of the bank by lighting a lamp.Deputy Chairperson Lawyer Rohini J Salian inaugurated the ATM and director Pushpalatha N Salian inaugurated the locker and other banking services.
Speaking on the occasion, Suvarna said that the economic growth has contributed to the national development and the bank responds to the prosperity of ordinary customers by providing world class banking facilities. This is the true example of reputed bank, he added.
He said that the bank has been stable in its operation by achieving more than the desired results. Suresh Poojary praised the efforts put in by Jaya Suvarna towards the banking operations and wished for the prosperity of the Billawa community.
Kalappa Poojary congratulated the bank on achieving good results and was confident about its future progress.
NT Poojary and Chandrashekar Palethadi also spoke on the occasion.
