Salman has already set the expectation levels very high, as his previous films including ‘Wanted’, ‘Dabangg’, ‘Ready’ and ‘Bodyguard’ did pretty good business at the box office and were declared blockbusters.
The trade analysts and media experts are predicting that this film too will be a blockbuster hit breaking all the records.
In a recent interview the director of the film, Kabir Khan, said that he is confident that the film ‘Ek Tha Tiger’ will do business of more than 100 crores.
Before the release of the film, ‘Ek Tha Tiger’ gained much attention for various controversies.
The film was initially declared anti-Pakistan film, for which the concerned authorities banned the screening of the film. Later the film received a No Objection Certificate (NOC) for a special screening for the members of the Pakistan Censor Board.
If this controversy was not enough for the film, ‘Ek Tha Tiger’ got involved into another one.

The film has received attention as the former lovers, Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif will be seen together once again in this film, after ‘Yuvvraaj’, which was released in 2008.
Surprisingly, in his 24 years long career, this film marks Salman’s first project under the Yash Raj banner, where he will play the lead role.
The combination of Salman Khan and musical duo Sajid-Wajid has worked in films like ‘Wanted’ and ‘Dabangg’ and their success story is pretty much evident as the song Mashallah’ from ‘Ek Tha Tiger’, composed by the musical duo has already become a huge hit.
It was reported that to do this action sequences of the film Salman had to undergo fitness training programme titled ‘Dirty Running’.
The film also features actor Ranvir Shorey, who was last seen in a film two years back.
