It may be recalled that the provocative speech against the community during 'Hindu Samajotsava' had created outrage among the Muslims, and though police had filed an FIR against Bhat, there was no action taken in the past 7 months.
Suresh Bhat, president of 'Komu Sauhardha Vedike' had appealed to the High court, through a PIL, to form an enquiry team regarding the provocative speech.
Justice V J Sen who verified the appeal from Suresh Bhat has now served a notice to K Prabhakar Bhat, the state government and the home ministry over the issue.
