Mangalore: Teen Sensation Ester Noronha Begins her Bollywood Career

Mangalore, Aug 7: She began her journey at the tender age of 9, and soon went on to become a teen sensation with her magical voice and her stupendous talent in music and dance.
Now, 19-year-old Ester Noronha is all set to step into the world of movies, with not one but three films - two Bollywood and a Sandalwood - in her kitty already.
Ester’s first movie ‘Qayamat Hi Qayamat’ (QHQ) starring herself and Saagar will be releasing on August 31. The remaining cast includes Govind Namdev, Upasana Singh, Prem Chopra, Aaryan Vaid, Puneet Issar, Raj Premi, Rajneeth sir, Zakir Hussain, Mushtaq Khan and is directed by Vicky Ranawat.
In ‘QHQ’ Ester is playing a double role, one as a simple middle class Rajasthani girl called ‘Radha’ and the other, a rich Gujarati girl called ‘Rani’. QHQ is about a love story which continues even after death and is re-born to seek revenge. The romantic drama and action movie has been shot in Udaipur, Chittorgarh, Kumbalgadh, Neemuch, Attannand, parts of Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh.
Her next Bollywood movie is ‘Mr Money’ directed by Rikshit Matta and is a romcom (romantic comedy). Ester will play the role of a rich Punjabi girl called ‘Lovely’, opposite Krushna Abhishek. The star cast includes Manoj Joshi, Upasana Singh, Asrani, Eva Grover and Kashmira Shah. Popular Pakistani actress Veena Malik will be doing an item song.
The movie is shot in Mumbai, Punjab, Bangkok and Dubai. Having completed 95% of the shot, Mr Money will be released in October.
‘Nimhans’ will be her first Sandalwood movie made under the guidance of Yograj Bhat and directed by his disciple H K Ramesh. Actor Surya and Ester will be playing the lead roles. The shooting is over and the movie is going through post production process.
Ester Noronha has signed a few more movies which will be releasing next year. She will also step into Tamil and Telugu movies shortly.
About Ester
Daughter of Janet and Valerian Noronha, Ester has been a live performer since the age of 9 and is a trained classical dancer, singer and musician. She has performed in a number of shows in India and abroad, and has also released her own music album. Her captivating voice and lively presence on stage has won her accolades. Her first album 'Kalza Thavn' was released in 2009.
Initially, Ester had plans of becoming an IAS officer and wanted to continue her studies in political science. But during one of her shows in Bangalore, bollywood choreographer Saroj Khan spotted her. She convinced Ester and her mother, after which Ester joined Anupam Kher’s acting school. She is also trained in bollywood dance and Kathak. She has an unbound respect for Saroj Khan who has supported her all through.
Speaking to Daijiworld, Ester says that although singing is still an integral part of life, acting has given her a new dimension. She says her mother has been her constant mentor, and attributes her success to everyone who has supported her.
