Steevan Colaco Elected President of Udupi Deanery ICYM

Udupi, Jul 30: Steevan Colaco of Udyavar was elected the president of Udupi deanery ICYM during its annual general elections held on Sunday July 29 at Mother of Sorrows Church.
 
Roshan Sequeira of Kuntalnagar church and Rashmi Fernandes of Katpady church were elected vice-presidents, Sarita Miranda of Kalmady church and Juural Saldhana of Udupi as secretary and joint secretary.

Alwyn Lobo of Moodubelle was elected treasurer, Don D’souza of Prerampalli as cultural secretary, and Ivan Mendonca of Kuntalnagar as sports secretary.
 
On the occasion Fr Alban D’Souza, parish priest, Kalmady church and Fr Romeo Lewis, parish priest of Prerampalli church took charge as the directors of the Udupi deanery ICYM, while former district ICYM president Maxim D’Sa assumed took over as the animator.
 
Fr William Martis and former office-bearers were present during the election. Youth from seven parishes participated in the elections.
 
Fr Romeo Lewis explained the rules and regulations while Fr Alban D’Souza conduct the elections.
 
Ritesh D’Souza welcomed the gathering and compered the programme. Sarita Miranda proposed the vote of thanks.
