Two-Headed Pig Born in Russia

Moscow, Jul 26 (IANS/RIA Novosti): A two-headed, four-eyed pig was born at a farm in central Russia, according to Bryansk regional veterinary service.

The mutant was born alongside 10 normal siblings and there was no apparent cause for the mutation. The piglet, however, died several days later.

Scientists say that mutant genes are unviable and are not inherited, but "they are unable to explain the cause of the mutation," said the Bryansk city's veterinary service.
