Muthalik will be Arrested if he Enters Goa: Parrikar

Panaji, Jul 18 (IANS): The Bharatiya Janata Party's Goa government will arrest Sri Ram Sene supremo Pramod Muthalik if he comes to Goa, Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar said Wednesday.

Parrikar told the Goa legislative assembly that Muthalik will be barred from entering Goa under section 144 of the Criminal Procedure Code.

"He will be arrested if he comes to Goa. The collector will decide his fate after the police report," Parrikar said in the assembly during the monsoon session.

A recent statement by Muthalik claiming that he would be opening a branch of his ultra rightwing Sri Ram Sene in Goa had created a controversy in Goa. Parrikar in reaction to Muthalik's statement had said that he would not "allow anyone to take law in his hands".

Muthalik shot to fame after he attacked young men and women patronising pubs some years back in Karnataka, claiming that it was against Indian culture.

Parrikar also said that Goans who are in league with Muthalik would also be penalised.

"I know some people are trying to call Muthalik to Goa. I am waiting to catch them and put them inside (jail). Their plan is to create chaos here by calling him," said Parrikar, when the issue was raised by the Independent legislator from Fatorda, Vijai Sardessai.

Good luck Mr.Parrikar, Goans have given BJP a chance not because BJP is good, but is better than other corrupt parties.
Instead of petty politics please prove you are different. Look at those narrow deadly roads leading to beaches, you have ample chance and time to utilise those crores gained by the state through mining.

this muthalick should be put behind bars for rest of his life. Karnataka govt & police are supporting him where as Goa people for sure teach him a great lesson and most likely help him to learn Christian values to live a peaceful happy life without troubling others. Muthalick do your best to read a bible for few weeks and learn what Jesus is telling us to do and act while we are on this earth. Dinesh Poojary, The local DC can over rule the court's decision and keep Mutalik out if he feels that Mutalik's presence can cause communal or public disturbance. The court's will not intervene. Secondly i dare Rakesh Shetty to go along with Mutalik to Goa if he has the guts. My advice however if they go is that both have a lot of beef soup to strengthen their bones before receiving a bettering from the Goa police.

Muthalik is the most dangerous person in the state. Only Government of Karnataka feels he is doing good for the state as always its the spineless leaders who are playing a religious vote game.
Good leaders in democracy should be elected and made responsible for their action. But in Karnataka people are happy with the leaders because they don't want development they want religion and culture to decide their future rather than good governance.

When will Kannadigas realize PEACE and Harmony is key to happy living and overall harmonious economic growth. Rulers always react and administer based on what people want. As long as we Kannadigas demonstrate foolishness politicians will continue to fool us and leave these rogues openly..

The Goa CM has kept his promise. While in opposition just 4 years ago, the same CM had supported the Goa Govt. to ban the Muthalik Sene, if they try to sneak inside Goa. Today as CM of Goa, he is speaking tough. The interest of the United Goans should be protected since people like Muthalik are sadist and would not like to live see peace anywhere but try to create chaos specially taking for granted Govt. run by BJP, sensing some moral support, which should not be the case. Since the people of Goa irrespective of Religion, Caste or Creed have voted this new CM for a clean administration & proper law & order. Muthalik should think of sending his Sene to J&K border to patrol along with the Indian Army where they are more needed and Govt. of India should permit the same.

Same with Sharad Pawar and Bala Saheb Thackeray. If needs to meet both will admit to same hospital in remote place and have discussion in detail planning whom to target next??..
