Ram Sene Can Holiday in Goa: Youth Congress

Panaji, Jul 18 (IBNS): The Goa youth Congress leaders protesting Shri Ram Sene’s plans to set up its branch in Goa have invited the Hindu-outfit’s chief Pramod Muttalik to spend a vacation in the coastal state.

“If Muttalik wants to be in Goa he is welcome with his family, enjoy the best traditional Goan hospitability and go back,” Goa Pradesh Youth Congress Committee’s President Pratima Coutinho said Tuesday, July 17.

Coutinho was speaking at a press conference, Monday evening criticizing the Goa government of not acting firm to ban Ram Sene’s entry to Goa.

“We don’t want moral policing. Goa has set an example in the rest of the country as a communal harmony state but Ram Sene’s entry is a threat to our peaceful living,” she said.

Muttalik had stated in a four-day convention at Ramnathi last month that he plans to start a branch of the organization in Goa by September and even invited Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar to inaugurate the unit.
