Bangalore : Shettar Ministry - Palemar, Halady, Mendon in?

Bangalore, Jul 12: On Thursday, 31 members, including two deputy chief ministers will be taking oath in Jagadish Shettar ministry at 12 noon. Jagadish Shettar will be sworn in as the 21st CM of Karnataka. K S Eshwarappa and R Ashok will be sworn in as deputy CMs.
According to reliable sources, two of the three ministers who were trapped in 'blue film' episode in Vidhana Soudha earlier this year are expected to be back in the BJP cabinet. Krishna Palemar from Mangalore is almost certain to take oath on Thursday. Among other two - Laxman Savadi and C C Patil - one is expected to be in the cabinet.
The state BJP has reportedly recommended two names from Udupi. MLA Halady Srinivas Shetty or Kaup MLA Lalaji Mendon will certainly make a first time entry into the ministry.
All 21 ministers who were part of Sadananda Gowda ministry are retaining their portfolios, however, Apachu Ranjan from Madikeri, C T Ravi or Jivaraj from Chikmagalur, Anand Singh or Karunakar Reddy from Bellary, Aravinda Limbavali, Karadi Sanganna are learnt to be among the other probables.
While giving the green signal to form the new government in Karnataka, on Wednesday, governor Bharadwaj advised Shettar to keep 'corrupt' people keep away from the ministry. He also reportedly told Shettar not to include ministers who were involved in the porngate scandal. "Do not embarass me by including such ministers," the governor reportedly told Shettar.
