Galle, Jun 25: Hello, and a warm welcome to one and all to Day 4 of the 1st Test between Sri Lanka and Pakistan. The hosts look set to draw the first blood in this series. The visitors top-order floundered once again to leave them gasping for breadth at 36/3 after being asked to chase an improbable 510. Will Pakistan show some spine with the bat or will it be one way traffic yet again?
Pakistan are in deep trouble as the top order has once again collapsed. Kulasekara troubled the batsmen by swinging the ball both ways while Herath generated tremendous turn. The pitch is crumbling and a monumental task awaits Pakistan's batsmen tomorrow. Sri Lanka are on top and they will be pushing for victory tomorrow. Join us tomorrow at 10:00 AM IST for all the action on day 4.
Pitch Report: Russell Arnold says that there was no overnight rain yesterday. There are some showers predicted today. The Pakistani batsmen need to try some new things today. They key is to use soft hands and defend well. The pitch is dry and the soil will crumble.
