Baghdad, Jun 22 (IANS): At least six people were killed and 52 others injured Friday in a car bombing in the Iraqi capital, Xinhua reported.
The blast took place at a crowded market in Husseiniya district of the city, an interior ministry official said.
No one has claimed responsibility for the attack.
In another incident, unidentified gunmen attacked a police checkpoint in Bayaa in southwestern Baghdad Friday, killing three police officers, the ministry official said.
