Rio de Janeiro, Jun 19 (IANS): AC Milan is reportedly negotiating the return of Brazilian star Kaka to the San Siro in a deal that could reunite striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic with Jose Mourinho at Real Madrid.
The Rossoneri has sought talks with Kaka's representatives this week in a bid to rescind the 30-year-old's contract at the Bernabeu, reported Xinhua.
The report said Milan president Silvio Berlusconi was willing to part ways with Ibrahimovic after blocking the transfer of Thiago Silva to Paris Saint-Germain last week.
It is understood Ibrahimovic is keen to be reunited with Mourinho, who he played under during Inter Milan's Scudetto-winning 2008-09 season, in which the Swede was also the Serie A's top scorer with 25 goals.
Kaka, voted FIFA world player of the year in 2007, managed just eight goals from 39 appearances for Real Madrid last season, many of which came as a substitute.
