12 Dead in Egyptian Families' Quarrel

Cairo, Jun 11 (IANS): At least 12 people were killed in a fight among three Egyptian families over a piece of land, Xinhua reported.

According to official MENA news agency, the fight occurred Sunday among the families in the country' s southern governorate of Aswan.

The three families used automatic weapons in their fight related to a dispute over a piece of land. Three people were also injured, said a police source.
