Kasargod: US-based Engineer from Mangalore Found Dead in Kumble

Mangalore/Kasargod, Jun 10: Sachin Kotekar (32), a resident of Padil, Mangalore, was found dead at Kumble in Kasargod on Sunday June 10.
Sachin was a software engineer working for a company in the United States.
He had come to Mangalore around one-and-a-half months back and was scheduled to return to the US on June 10.
On Saturday night, Sachin was on his way to his wife Sushma's parental house in Posatadka, Kumble to drop her. After leaving her there, he went out saying that he had to take a printout of his air ticket.
However, he never returned home, and when his anxious family members called him, his mobile phone was switched off.
On June 10 morning, his body was found on seashore at Koipady in Kumble, a little distance away from his car.
Sachin Kotekar was the son of Devadas and Sulochana of Padil. He had left for US over a year ago and was working as a software engineer there, while his wife Sushma stayed behind in India. He was to return to US via Bangalore on Sunday night.
Sachin is suspected to have committed suicide, however, the exact reason is unknown.
Kumble police have registered a case.
The body has been taken to Pariyaram Medical College Hospital for post-mortem.
