SpiceJet to Start Daily Flights to Dubai from Delhi, Mumbai

New Delhi, Jun 8 (IANS): Budget carrier SpiceJet Friday said it would add Dubai as the third international destination to its network by daily operating direct Delhi-Dubai and Mumbai-Dubai flights from June 25.

The airline is offering introductory one-way airfares starting at just Rs. 4,477 including all taxes.

"Government has taken substantial and positive steps to open the market and allowing private carriers to connect with new international destinations," said Neil Mills, chief executive, SpiceJet.

According to the company, it has received the required regulatory approvals from India and Dubai. Tickets for the new flight services were available from Friday.

The company will operate the new services on Boeing 737-800. The low-cost carrier (LCC) started international operations two years back and currently operates on two international routes -- Delhi-Kathmandu and Chennai-Colombo.

    spicejet please start operateef rom dammam to mangalore. becouse lots mangaloreans flying from dammam to mangalore . they takeing via bharain or mumbai or kozikode.. or other vias. if they started from dammam its will help both side s pepole and spicejet co. if they start tawice in a week its good for them.....Mangalore very far them who travel near north keral . D.k,Udupi,and so other place also................

    good news. but we cannot expect there is direct flight to mangalore, because mangalore airport status is not yet finalize. There is way SPICE JET can start Dubai-bombay-Manglaore. emiration is in bombay only. without changing flight. IS THIS POSSIBLE ??????????

    What a breaking news for the week-end!
    Return timings to Dubai are very convenient. Readers, Spice Jet cannot choose to fly to Mangalore because, Until Kannur airport opens, they will not give Mangalore landing rights to other airline.
    Now, we have a best option to fly SpiceJet. Support them now, compared to the greedy rates of Air India express.

    thanks to spice jet good work thy r doing ,one can get connected via mumbai ,so it is a good chance for mumbai air port too!!!!thy get more business,but mlore v cant say wen direct flights will land otherthan air india express(aie) or air india???(ai)if some will land like calicuit then only we can say now we have direct flights ,saudi there are 3 or 4 big airports and too many full passengers are available but ai or aie not doing any thing in this regard ,but there is ai exp for pune from uae???may be becoz of political power ??? or there r too many passengers than saudi ??so now all has to depends on via mumbai ,in a small period may be no one will get licence for mlore direct flights as it is bad for ai and aiexp .

    I do hope we have SPICEJET flying to Bangalore from Mangalore.

    Jet Airways is fleecing the travellers as they know that KINGFISHER is in the RED.

    Mangaloreans need a direct flight to Delhi or atleast Mangalore - Mumbai - Delhi, Mangalore - Hyderabad - Kolkota ,without changing aircrafts.

Everybody is fed up of the lousy service rendered by money loosing AIR INDIA.They are not serving the passengers but for themselves and their families by way of free travel.
