Eight Die in Pakistan Blast


Islamabad, Jun 7 (IANS): Eight people, including two children, were killed Thursday in a massive blast outside a seminary in Pakistan's Quetta city, a media report said.

The deafening explosion took place at Jamia Islamia Miftah-ul-Uloom, reported Geo News.

The explosive device was tied to a bicycle parked beside the seminary gate.

Eight people were killed while dozens were injured, hospital sources were quoted as saying.

The bomb was detonated outside the seminary as a ceremony for handing over degrees to students was being held inside, said police official Qazi Abdul Wahid.
